I’ve never fished before or have little experience. Can you still take us out?
We love fishing with everyone, so you don’t have to worry about being inexperienced. Capt. Rick will teach you the basics. Casting the rod, how to fight the fish, bait the hook. We have you covered to ensure you’ll always have a great time.
Are Kids Allowed on the Boat?
Absolutely YES! Kids are allowed on the boat. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing your child fight and land their 1st big fish. The smiles are unforgettable. We’d love to share that experience with you.
Can we keep what we catch?
We believe in preserving our lake and the fish within it so we are a Catch and Release boat. This means you will not be available to take anything you catch home, but pictures will last forever.
Is there anything we should bring on our trip?
It is recommended to bring Drinks, Snacks, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, and a Hat. These items are not included that you can read about here, but you are welcome to bring them on board. You can purchase a Whata Fight Hat when you get here if you like.
No Fish No Pay Policy
We’re so sure that we will put you on fish that we guarantee it! We want your day to be one to remember and if we fail well it’s just as it says NO FISH NO PAY!
What if I’m Late to get to the boat
Your fishing time starts promptly at the time you scheduled your trip. This is your time. Please plan accordingly to arrive on time. Give yourself 15 mins to insure you will be on time.
Are Tips Included in my Fee
Gratuity is not included but greatly appreciated. The usual Gratuity is 20%. It is up to you what you wish to give.
Can I Fly Fish
Yes, you can. We can supply a 5 to 8wt. Flies are available. Please feel free to bring your own gear if you wish. Please let us know ahead of time.
How Do I Book a Trip
Several options; the first is the easiest. The online book now features, which gets you an instant confirmation. After booking, Captain will reach out via phone and provide overall details. Option two is to call the local office at (305) 749-9970, and the staff will be able to answer all your questions and help you get reserved over the phone.
What if I need to cancel
Please see the cancellation policy, but know we always try to accommodate changes when possible. When questionable, always purchase the insurance at checkout to protect your payment and trip!
